The Catalog of Captive D&RGW Cabooses has been updated on the resource page of the RGM&HS website.  Thanks to Earle Kittleman (Member #1048) for letting us know that Caboose No. 0576 in Salida had been moved as of March 29, 2014 from the Salida Museum on Highway50 to the end of F Street across the Arkansas River in the old railroad yard.
The 0576 was recently featured in an article in the Mountain Mail News in its new location with a new commemorative plaque and interpretive sign. We are working with Earle on expanding on the 0576 preservation story in an upcoming issue of the Green Light.
