We are now able to share some of the finalized details regarding the 2018 RGM&HS convention this summer. We are partnering with the NMRA’s National Convention (August 5th-12th) in Kansas City and will be hosting our one-day convention on Thursday, August 9th at the NMRA National Convention. Admission to the RGM&HS Convention will be the daily rate for the NMRA Convention. (A slight upcharge is required for non-NMRA members.) We will be posting more information and registration details in early March on the RGM&GS Website.
On that Thursday we’ve planned a full day of RGM&HS presentations in a dedicated room for the society at the NMRA National Convention. In the evening we have planned tours to 3 Rio Grande themed layouts in the area covering:
- Dave Acheson’s - Colorado Joint Line with spur to Coors
- Ron Bibbison’s - Denver to the Moffat Tunnel
- John Vandenberg’s - HOn3 Narrow Gauge.
RGM&HS convention attendees will also receive reduced entrance cost to the National Train Show on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The RGM&HS will have a our Company Store in a booth at the Train Show. You can learn more about the National

Friday night there will be an informal Dinner for society members at Jack Stacks Bar-B-Q across from Union Station (pay for your own).
Saturday we will be having the RGM&HS Board of Trustee meeting. RGM&HS members are welcome attend.
