The Prospector is our professionally produced quarterly magazine showcasing original research, historic images, and expert writing on the Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad.

Volume 12, published in 2013, expanded the magazine’s scope with detailed studies of branch lines, locomotive development, and historic facilities throughout the Rio Grande system. Richly illustrated articles and newly surfaced archival material highlight the Society’s ongoing commitment to preserving and interpreting D&RGW history.
