Volume 24 Number 3 Has Been Mailed

Arriving soon in a mailbox near you! The Prospector Volume 24, Number 3 started being mailed out this week from our printer. Both Foreign and Domestic members should start seeing your issue delivered in the next week or so to your mailbox.  If you are not an RGM&HS member, (we highly recommend considering joining) this issue is available to purchase from the RGM&HS Company Store.

We are pleased to introduce a Co-Editor for this issue, Corey Bonsall, who will be taking over as the Prospector Editor beginning with issue 25-1. Corey has assembled the majority of this issue with my supervision and has done a wonderful job.

This issue brings Matt Darling’s coverage of the last run of D&RGW’s 2-8-8-2, No. 3610, and Part 2 of Allen Copeland’s article on the Fairbanks-Morse locomotives that were tested on the Rio Grande, but not purchased. John Tudek has once again provided scans of original documents from the CRRM’s Richardson Library. Again, we do not have room to include all the documents, but have placed them on the RGM&HS website with Part 1’s documents and can be viewed on the RGM&HS website and may be viewed here:

Until the October issue.
