The Prospector is the Rio Grande Modeling & Historical Society’s professionally produced quarterly magazine, featuring original research, historic photographs, maps, and expert writing on the Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad. Since its inaugural issue in 2002, the magazine has documented more than two decades of Rio Grande history through detailed articles, rare imagery, and contributions from leading historians and researchers.

Individual issues and complete volume sets are available here, from the current year back to Volume 1. Availability varies by volume; some out‑of‑print issues may be reprinted periodically, while others are offered only in limited quantities. Earlier volumes may include CD‑ROM editions where print runs have sold out, but no new issues will be produced in CD‑ROM format going forward. All items remain available only while supplies last.
